On the Lie Algebras of Nonlinear Control Systems,

Abstract

Associated with control systems are certain Lie algebras of first-order partial differential operators. The author shows how they may be used to study controllability properties of the system and to obtain conditions for the existence of probability densities of related stochastic systems.
