Solar Electron Access to the Magnetosphere,

Abstract

The problem of solar flare electron access to the geomagnetosphere is reviewed. The lack of a definitive solution to this problem is found to be due to the inadequacy of the measurements that have been published to date rather than to the nature of the problem. The data that have been published support the interconnection model of the magnetosphere. (Author)
