Aperture Synthesis Study of HI in the Galaxy IC10,

Abstract

Synthesis observations of the neutral hydrogen in the partially obscured, irregular galaxy IC10 are presented. Angular resolution is 2 minutes arc and spectral resolution is 21 km/s. The data are consistent with a flattened gas distribution undergoing general rotation. Evidence is presented which suggests that the obscuration in the direction of IC10 has been overestimated.
