Magnetic and Thermal Properties of Cr(C6H6)2I Above 0.4K.

Abstract

The authors have measured the heat capacity and the magnetic susceptibilities of Cr(C6H6)2I down to about 0.4K. Long range antiferromagnetic order sets in below .76K. The anistropy of the single-crystal susceptibilies below TN is not that of a simple antiferromagnet. Crystal structure is discussed.
