Nonlinear Waves of Ionic Sound in Plasma Containing Three-Dimensional Random Heterogeneities,

Abstract

The paper presents a study of the problem of nonlinear waves of ionic sound in a nonisothermal plasma containing weak three-dimensional heterogeneities of electron concentration. The basic integral-differential equation describing nonstationary wave processes in a weakly nonlinear chaotically heterogeneous plasma was established. It was disclosed that in certain cases this equation can be reduced to modified Burgers and Korteweg deVries-Burgers equations. A study of stationary waves was conducted. (Modified author abstract)
