The Arrangement of Equipment on Aeroplanes,

Abstract

Principles are presented and examples are described of the layout of the different kinds of equipment on modern aircraft, including the supersonic. Examples are shown for adjusting separate components of equipment (for example, radar antennas, their streamlined housings, fuel gauge sensors, deicers) into the airframe for a reduction in weight.
