Magnetic Field Survey at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Abstract

An airborne magnetic survey of 1300 square kilometers of White Sands Missile Range and adjacent Fort Bliss was performed from an altitude of 3900 meters. A geomagnetic map and additional diurnal magnetic variation data are presented. Some aspects of the geological contributions to the magnetic field are discussed. (Author)
