Certain Features of the Crystallization of the Liquid Molten Pool during Pulsed Electron-Beam Welding,

Abstract

The report gives data concerning the crystallization of a liquid metal during pulsed electron-beam welding (EBW) and examines the features of the crystallization process, the possible structures of the welds, and their connection with the properties of the weld joints. Pulsed EBW expands the possibilities for controlling the crystallization process and obtaining higher joint properties by producing the necessary structures. (Author)
