Automatic Data Processing Techniques for Graphic-Data Display, Generation and Analysis.
Abstract
The Interim Scientific Report provides a brief summary of research progress during the 12-month period 1 Sep 72 - 31 Aug 73. Research under this grant is concerned with computer graphics and image processing and specifically consisted of (1) the extraction of line structures from noisy photographs, (2) the assembly of line structure data from multiple photographs to obtain computer descriptions of three-dimensional solids (scene analysis), and (3) the development of computer algorithms for line drawing processing.
