Apparatus for Measuring Galvano- and Thermomagnetic Effects on Low-Temperature Thermoelectric Materials,

Abstract

To cut the time required for an absolute stationary method of taking temperature and field characteristics of a material, an apparatus has been designed permitting measurement of galvano- and thermomagnetic effects on seven samples simultaneously in the range from 78 - 300K in a field of 10 - 10,000 gauss, and direct determination by the Harman method of thermal efficiency. Glass and metal holders were used. (Modified author abstract)
