Evaluation of the Linde Co. R-415 Regulator for Use with Oxygen Scuba.

Abstract

A commercially available regulator was evaluated to determine its suitability for use as a component of a closed circuit, oxygen, underwater breathing apparatus. Two types of orifice and bypass assemblies were evaluated for use with the regulator. The evaluation consisted of laboratory tests to determine the flow stability and reproducibility, the effect of varying supply pressure, and the effect of varying back pressure (depth). (Author)
