Toxic Hazards Research Unit Annual Technical Report: 1973

Abstract

The activities of the Toxic Hazards Research Unit (THRU) for the period of June 1972 through May 1973 are reviewed in this report. Acute inhalation toxicity experiments were conducted on mixtures of carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide. Emergency Exposure Limits (EEL) were validated for chlorine pentafluoride and a 24-hour EEL defined for monomethylhydrazine. A series of chronic inhalation toxicity studies were conducted with hydrazine, methylhydrazine and coal tar aerosols. Oral percutaneous toxicity evaluations were conducted on a series of chemical agents.
