HCl Chemical Laser.
Abstract
Several types of HCl lasers were observed in the region of the electromagnetic spectrum from about 3.5 to 3.9 micrometers. A number of reactants were screened in a pulsed electrical discharge system, and HCl lasing was observed from 26 transitions between vibrational-rotational energy levels. (Author)
