Methodology for Projection of Resources Requirements.
Abstract
A methodology is developed for obtaining indicators which are logically related to AMC manpower and funding requirements. Future values of the indicators are predictable from DA/DoD planning documents and can be used by AMC in resource planning - projecting future requirements and allocating given manpower amongst the Major Subordinate Commands (MSC). These indicators, termed drivers, are direct stimuli for the workload of the Commands and consequently are estimators of future workload of the MSC functional directorates for which they are being used. Schemes for quantifying drivers are developed for the Maintenance Support and Material Mgt Directorates. (Modified author abstract)
