A Comparison of Two Alternate Method of Storing Lead Azide to the Present Method.

Abstract

Two new alternate methods of storing lead azide are proposed. Published data on the chemicals, equipment, and procedures, as well as suggestions, advice, and information from experts on this subject were used to compare the feasibility of carrying out the proposed chemical reactions, economic costs involved in implementing the various methods, and the safety characteristics of each of the three methods studied in this project. Recommendations for further study are made.
