Feasibility Study of a Progressive Care Unit.

Abstract

The report develops the use of the concepts of systems engineering in the study of the feasibility of a self care unit, a Progressive Care Unit, to a medical care system. Chapter 2 discusses the development of PPC and how it has influenced medical care and led to the concept of self care. Also, a brief look into shared services is presented, along with the growing role of the industrial engineer.
