On State Assignment and Realization of Sequential Machines.
Abstract
The design of minimal cost synchronous sequential machines is achieved by automating the state assignment procedure, the solution of the sequential machine using the next state table and the state assignment chosen, and finally, the optimization of the solution. (Modified author abstract)
