A Simple Method for Measuring Absolute Diffuse Reflectance with a Laboratory Spectrophotometer.

No extra experimental set up, such as a second integrating sphere, is required. The method is based on the Kubelka-Munk theory of diffuse reflectance. A graphical procedure is given, and an equation is derived which expresses the absolute reflectance as a function of four readily measurable quantities: two molar concentrations and two relative reflectances.
