A Multi-Layer, Nonlinear Regional Dynamic Model of the North Pacific Ocean,

Abstract

A time dependent, three-dimensional numerical dynamic model of the North Pacific Ocean, possessing an actual coastal configuration and seven layers, has been developed at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in order to show the physical nature of the large-scale normal and abnormal characteristics of the ocean in response to the various normal and anomalous seasonal meteorological conditions.
