Radiolysis of Alkali Metal Chlorates,

Abstract

The composition, yield and thermal stability of the radiolytic products were studied. Radiation stability of the chlorates is a function of the alkali metal, indicating that the radiation energy is absorbed by the metal and transferred to the anion, causing its decomposition. The construction of a complete scheme of the thermal decomposition process was not possible.
