Calculation of Probability of Radiation from Diatomic Molecular Dissociation States,

Abstract

To estimate the possibilities of a laser when a photostimulated chemical reaction is used, the author calculated the probabilities of radiation from diatomic molecular dissociation states. Quamtum considerations made it possible to investigate in detail those cases to which classical theory is not applicable and to determine the applicability criteria of the quasiclassical results which were obtained earlier. Numerical estimates confirm the possibility of realizing the laser when the photostimulated reaction is used.
