A User's Guide to the Macro Control Language

Abstract

The report describes the use of new language for the control of Physical processes. Programs written in Macro Control Language are subjected to a translator/scheduler where they undergo a traditional compilation as well as automatic processor scheduling among the various processes which are controlled. The memo explains the syntax and semantics of the Macro Control Language. It also gives step-by-step instructions for writing programs and for running them on the M.I.T. Electrical Engineering Department's PDP-11/45 DELPHI system.
