Abstract

The report presents monthly mean sea surface temperature departures from a 20-year mean (1947 - 1966) over the North Pacific Ocean from 1950 to 1970. In addition, bathythermograph data taken at Ocean Weather Stations VICTOR (35 degrees N, 165 degrees E), PAPA (50 degrees N, 145 degrees W) and NOVEMBER (30 degrees N, 140 degrees W) are presented as monthly and long-term means for the months and years available from 1950 to 1970.
