Stochastic Models for Queueing and Logistics Applications.
Abstract
The research supported by this contract concentrates on two main areas: The analytic study of stochastic processes which arise in the theory of queues; and the development of efficient algorithms to study the time-dependent and the transient behavior of waiting lines and other probability models.
