The Arms Merchants--Who's Number One.

Abstract

The United States has been the leading exporter of arms since the end of World War II. The study examines why France is challenging the United States for leadership in arms sales in the West. Areas examined are: the history of arms sales, the post World War II era of arms sales, arms suppliers by category, selected categories of arms sales since 1945, United States arms sales, French arms sales and government policies.
