Pattern Analysis, Modeling and Classification.

Abstract

General purpose techniques for pattern analysis, modeling and classification are being developed under grant AFOSR 71-1982. These techniques are being applied to practical problems in digital communications and the machine recognition of spatial and temporal patterns in waveforms and images derived from sensors. The objective of this effort is to enable more efficient use of existing data communication equipment and permit the design of superior communication networks and the automatic classification of sensor data.
