Some Estimation Problems on Lie Groups.
Abstract
In the paper the author considers several problems on nonabelian Lie groups. The author defines a class of bilinear stochastic systems with the aid of an extension of an injection procedure of McKean. Several associated estimation and analysis problems are formulated, and solutions are obtained for a number of special cases, including the case in which the bilinear system matrices obey certain Lie bracket relations, and also several other cases involving optimal angular velocity estimation for rigid bodies.
