The Effect of a Deflector Geometry on Heat Transfer in the Cooling Loop of Deflector Vanes,

Abstract

The principal results of experimental research into the mechanisms of airflow and heat transfer in deflector vanes of gas turbines are presented in previous reports and the procedures for carrying out the experiments and analysis of their results are described. In the current article the experimental data obtained are used for comparative analysis of the influence of type and dimensions of deflectors on the rate of heat transfer in a cooling loop.
