Supersonic Wind Tunnel Investigations Using Pulsed Laser Holography,

Abstract

Experimental data determined from the application of pulsed laser holography to supersonic wind tunnel experiments are presented. Both qualitative and quantitative data are shown for two-dimensional studies, and qualitative data are presented for three-dimensional axisymmetric and asymmetric tests. New data for a separated turbulent boundary layer are included and double pulsed holographic interferograms are used to determine the frequency of fluctuations in a separated flow field. (Author)
