The Evolution of Time-Periodic Long Waves of Finite Amplitude,

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present detailed results calculated for two cases where secondary crests are a dominant feature: one for a horizontal bottom and one for a bottom sloping to a shallow shelf. Calculated results for the second case are compared with some records obtained from a large scale experiment.
