Manifestitation of the Structure in Electron Energy Distribution Functions and Using It to Determine the Effective Cross Sections of Inelastic Processes,

Abstract

The paper concerns the features of the electron energy distribution function in a discharge with two coaxial tube electrodes; the inner electrode is in the form of a grid. The structure of the distribution functions is used to determine the effective cross sections of inelastic collisions. The reasons for manifestation of the structure of the electron energy distribution functions are discussed.
