The Paramagnetic Effect in Superconductors of the First Kind,

Abstract

For the case of the destruction of superconductivity by a current in the presence of a longitudinal magnetic field the authors propose a structure consisting of coaxial layers of the two-dimensional mixed state moving toward the axis of the specimen. Results of experimental studies are given which are in good agreement with the proposed model.
