Primary Irritation Evaluation Program Study.

Abstract

ENT-35659-Ga and ENT-35660-Ga which are candidate repellents, were evaluated on New Zealand white rabbits for their potential to cause skin irritation. The data obtained serve as a basis for making a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing on these compounds and does not constitute approval for testing on human volunteers. ENT-35659 should be used with extreme caution. It is recommended that use be restricted to areas other than the face. ENT-35660 should be used with extreme caution around the eyes and mucosa.
