Man to Model, or Model to Man,

Abstract

The concept and use of models are more and more inseparable tools of today's physiological and behavioral sciences, medicine and bioengineering. Models play an important part in various branches of aerospace medicine and some of the most advanced and complex models of biological systems originated from research in aerospace biotechnology. This paper analyzes the reason for the use of such models, the justification for them, and primarily the benefits derived from their application.
