Symposium on Crystallization from Solutions and Melts,
Abstract
The report briefly discusses a symposium on crystallization from solutions and melts held in Berlin. The papers fell into six basic groups: general questions on theory and method, synthesis of corundum single crystals, crystallization of mica from solutions and melts, synthesis of garnets, synthesis of semiconducting single crystals, and synthesis of tungstate and titanate single crystals.
