Air Shielded Cooling System,
Abstract
A new air shielded cooling system for fruit storehouses is discussed. The new system combines the advantages of both the existing-air and channel systems. The description of an experimental chamber incorporating the new system is given and its performance is judged on the basis of experimental data. The proposed system is universal and can function under cooling and storage conditions.
