Polarization of Electrodes of Various Porosites in Solid Electrolytes,

Abstract

The electrode process on an oxygen platinum electrode in contact with a solid electrolyte is determined principally by two phases: diffusion and electrochemical. Data obtained in the work, on the components of impedance in the electrode process resistance, permits evaluation of the electrode-electrolyte contact area and the calculation of the diffusion and electrochemical phase rates.
