Analysis of Nonlinear Systems with Multiple Inputs.

Abstract

NSNetwork analysis theoryThe report summarizes results of an extensive theoretical and experimental effort entitled Communication Receivers Interference Modeling. The objective of the contract was to develop reliable, realistic, and useful mathematical models of the response of communication receivers to multiple input signals. Part 1 presents the Wiener-Volterra method of analysis of nonlinear circuits applicable to small signal excitations. A powerful method of obtaining nonlinear transfer functions of nonlinear circuits and systems from circuit diagrams is explained. A nonlinear network analysis computer program called SIGNCAP was prepared that embodies the method. Part 2 applies this method to the prediction of behavior of communication receivers in the presence of interference. Many measurement examples abstracted from the book illustrate the method.
