Automated Determination of Iron in Biological Materials,
Abstract
An automated procedure is described for the colorimetric determination of iron in a variety of biological materials, including serum, urine, sweat, and diet samples. Serum total iron-binding capacity measurements are described. Precision and accuracy are evaluated.
