Semi-annual rept. 1 Mar-30 Sep 73,Janowiecki,R. J. ;Willson,M. Property goals for spray-fabricated magnets consist of a coercive force of 6000 oersteds and a maximum energy product of eight million gauss-oersteds. A series of samarium-cobalt alloys (nominal 34 to 39 wt. % Sm-Co) were converted into spray powder and formed into magnets by plasma spraying onto removable substrates. (Modified author abstract)
