The ELIM-COMPLIP System of Manpower Planning Models. Volume II. Description of Computational Procedures.

Abstract

The purpose of the ELIM-COMPLIP system is to compute an Army manpower program that reflects not only the current status of Army manpower but also plans and assumptions concerning the future. This volume, Vol II, discusses the computational procedures of the ELIM-COMPLIP system. It is intended to give the reader a thorough understanding of the rationale, design concept, and detailed specifications for each of the five major modules of the system. The intention is to provide sufficient detail so that the reader can use this volume as a source of definitive information concerning the methodology by which all ELIM-COMPLIP results are obtained.
