Development of a Monitor for Recycle of Waste Water.
Abstract
Ozonation and ultrafiltration (UF) studies were performed on various dyes to check their suitability as candidate tracer material for the various purification steps of recycled water. Ozonation experiments are described, as well as efforts directed to a feasibility study of dichromate oxidation in acid medium as a monitoring technique using a spectrophotometer to study the reaction between organic impurities in water and dichromate.
