Invariant Methods of Determining the Lift Coefficient of Various Aerodynamic Profiles According to the Flow Spectrum,

Abstract

Invariant methods are used in wind tunnels and aerodynamic installations with visualization of part of the flow pattern encompassing the necessary section with the characteristic line of flow; in wind tunnels in which visualization is not possible for various reasons; in preliminary studies of a large number of promising types of mechanization (UPS (boundary layer control), pumping or blowing of jet), for which the development of special complex equipment is required for the feeding and exhausting of air through a weighing system and in physical studies of new circulation two-dimensional flows around aerodynamic contours caused by various reasons.
