Sporadic Formations of a Nocturnal Auroral Ionosphere. Several Methods for Determining the Profile of Electron Concentration by Ground-Based Means (Chapter III. Section 1.),

Abstract

The basic method for studying the electron concentration at altitudes of 90-150 km is the vertical radiosonding of the atmosphere with the use of an automatic ionospheric station.
