The Features of an Explosion with Ejection in a Wet Medium,

Abstract

The report attempts by experimental means, to explain the role of moisture of the surrounding medium in the process of transfer of the explosion energy in the ejected material. The explosive charge is set off on a massive steel plate. In the plate there are holes which permit the entry of gases from the cavity, such that one can practically exclude the transfer of energy during the state of gas acceleration.
