Quantitative Dependence of Allergenic Effects of Chemical Substances and Approaches to Setting Their Hygienic Standards in the Atmosphere,

Abstract

The study of the allergenic effects of chemical substances from the position of hygienic problems is limited to experimental establishment of the state of sensitization. Possible sensitizing of an organism to low-molecular chemical substances in the process of their production, employment, and as a result of contamination of the atmosphere brings the attention of hygienists to the necessity of prophylactic measures. In this report two solutions are possible: liquidation of the allergens at the site of their formation and commercial use as raw products, or the standardizing of their content in the atmosphere. A discussion of the problem is reported.
