The Gravity Field of Australia and Surrounding Seas (Gravitatsionnoe Pole Avstralii i Okruzhayushchikh Morei),
Abstract
The paper describes the gravity map of Australia and the surrounding seas. This map is compiled according to a new gravity survey of Australia. There are two versions of this map. One of them used Bouger anomalies with varying density for the continent and the density 2.67 for the oceans. The second version of the map uses the same anomalies for the continent, but free-air anomalies for the oceans. The paper describes the correlation between the regional and certain tectonic elements. Reduced copies of both versions of the map are given in the paper. (Author)
