Yugoslavia after Tito: Alignment or Nonalignment.

Abstract

The question examined is what direction Yugoslavia's foreign policy will take after Tito and what implications that policy has on US interests. The evolution of the present Yugoslav system was examined using a literature search. The major trends affecting Yugoslavia's future were identified from recent writings, primarily the press, and were analyzed to postulate the future of the country after Tito.
