The Role of the Military in the Campaign Against the Mau Mau Insurgents in Kenya

Abstract

The study examines the tactics and organization of the Mau Mau terrorists (1952-60) as well as the countermeasures adopted by the security forces, with emphasis on British military contributions. Data were gathered by a literature search from sources available to the USAWC library.
