Management of the Infantry Battalion Command Program.

Abstract

The research report consists of an analysis and evaluation of the current policies and procedures governing the Infantry Battalion Command Program to determine what changes, if any, should be made to insure that the most outstanding potential battalion commanders available are selected for battalion command positions. Command management systems for the Navy and Air Force are also discussed and evaluated in general terms for purposes of comparison with the Army system. (Modified author abstract)
